The Spirit of Meekness

What does it mean to be meek from a biblical standpoint? Meekness is the ability to be humble, patient and gentle. It’s not weakness or passivity but rather strength under control. It’s the ability to be assertive without being aggressive. It’s also a willingness to serve others, even at your own expense. Meekness is a biblical virtue. It’s one of the fruits of the Spirit that are listed in Galatians 5:22-23. Meekness is a virtue that’s often misunderstood and undervalued.
